I am an Assistant Professor at Sapienza University of Rome – Department of Communication and Social Research. My education and research experience sit at the intersection of Science and Technology Studies, Feminist Technoscience, Communication Studies, and Participatory Design. Broadly, my research examines the cultural politics of high-tech through the analytical category of gender, with a focus on how sociotechnical practices produce different positioning and power asymmetries.
I received a PhD in Sociology and Applied Social Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome in 2016. From 2016 to 2020, I worked in two European H2020 research projects: Grassroots Radio and Commonfare. I serve on the editorial board of Tecnoscienza: Italian Journal of Science & Technology Studies, and on the advisory board of the Participatory Design Conference. If you wish to get in touch, you can do that here. |
